C'est faux. Il n'y a que les façades des deux arches ainsi que les façades des trois marches supérieures qui ont été vernies. Tous les rebords (arches et marches) ainsi que tous les barreaux sont sur le bois naturel. Le bois a été très bien sablé en usine certes, mais ça reste que le touché du bois naturel n'est pas aussi "lisse et soyeux" qu'un bois verni, et surtout pas aussi facile à nettoyer.(-) Tous les morceaux sont identifiés avec un collant qui laisse des résidus de colle (voir photo). J'ai dû utiliser du dégommant goo-gone pour retirer les résidus.J’aime bien le design, c’est un bon jouet. Toutefois, pour le prix demandé j’aurais apprécié que le jouet en entier soit verni, et non pas seulement les façades.

We set this Climbing Ladder up for a three year old and he actually loves it - main thing is that he needs us there to supervise his climbing as we don't want him to fall an hurt himself. As an extra protection we only place the ladder on foam tiles that offer a softer place to land in case he does fall.Assembly is pretty easy, I used a drill as there are a ton of screws but I'm sure it's possible to assemble with the included tool and some extra effort.Good to recommend, the wood is properly finished and it is a solid toy once assembled correctly.

We put it together tonight, this thing is sturdy and easy to assemble...although you really have to crank the alan key to drive those screws in! Dinosaur is super cute and the set folds up for easy storage. Unpainted, unfinished wood that is finely sanded smooth will be good for young teething kids.

Kthe quality of the wood and the finish is fine. There's no notably rough edges or surfaces. The main problem comes in with the bolts. First off, be very cautious when assembling this. There's a singular bar, the same length and dimensions as all the other bars, that in fact has a metal insert in the ends that has a smaller thread diameter and is designed for the bolts with handles at the end in order to fold the ladder up. Unfortunately if you make a mistake and try to put the wrong bolt in there you can permanently damage the threads, or even move the metal insert deeper into the rod and make it impossible to even assemble properly. The other thing that bothers me is that the bolts with the handles are actually quite hard to turn properly, and just don't feel all that secure when attached. Whether this is due to the rather thin bolts or just the extra space around the bolts is unclear to me.Overall it's not a bad set, but be extra cautious when assembling it. Unfortunately it is a bit pricy for what you get, but if you only have space for the ladder portion of the usual pickler sets, this isn't bad deal. Just not a great deal.
